Manchester United vs. Arsenal: Match Previews

     Manchester United will be facing Arsenal this Sunday at 16:00 (local time) and will be playing away at
Emirates Stadium. Looking to the team performance this season, both in domestic and European competition, Manchester United statistically is leading Arsenal. The Red Devils currently stands second in the Premier League table (just two points behind Manchester City who played their game yesterday) with 16 points and performs well in the Champions League despite losing their first match at PSV. On  the other hand, Arsenal hasn't found their best performance being sixth at the Premier League and currently stays at the bottom of the group at the Champions League group F, earning no points in the first two games. This important match will decide the Premier League table, where if United wins they will retain the top of the table from City, while if Arsenal win they might move United down to be second in the league.

    The Red Devils will be playing without Marcos Rojo, who is still in the recovery from the hamstring injury, and Luke Shaw with a broken leg during the match against PSV at the Champions League. Ander Herrera and Paddy McNair looks to be doubtful playing tonight as they both is currently lack of match fitness. Boss Van Gaal will have to weigh up his players who might suffer tiredness with United playing 7 games in 24 matches (including the match against Arsenal today). On Arsenal's side, plenty of players will be unable to play United. Mikel Arteta is still in the recovery from a thigh injury, Mathieu Flamini and Laurent Koscielnny will be out for hamstring injury, Jack Wilshere is suffering a leg injury, while former United striker Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky both suffers a knee injury.

on. Memphis Depay have scored four goals and one assists this season in 12 games at all competitions. Juan Mata shows an incredibile performance with four goals and five assists in 12 games, where three goals and three assists is in the Premier League competition. Anthony Martial will be the dangerous rising star for Arsenal, the French striker have scored four goals and one assist in just 7 games. While on the home side, Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud, and Alexis Sanchez will be three players United should watch out. Theo Walcott collects four goals and one asisst in 9 games at all competitions. Olivier Giroud have scored three goals in 9 matches, with all three goals was scored at the Premier League competition. Finally, Alexis Sanchez will be the player to watch with dangerous performance at the league this season, having scored four goals and two assists in total 10 games, three of four goals was scored at the Premier League.

     This evening's match will be both teams' 181st performance against each other at all competitions. In the last 180 matches, United is leading Arsenal in head to head collecting 77 wins, 42 draws, and 61 loses.
